Designs By Default started by default during COVID-19 lockdown in 2020. After months of isolation, and society restrictions I knew my career of working in events and tourism was going to take time to recover and go back to what it was before Covid. WIth this in mind, I decided to re-event myself. So, Designs By Default was born, by forming a business around my hometown of Dunedin, where people could buy gifts to send to family members around the country and overseas.
